Biographical Sketch :
Professor Conley completed his undergraduate work at the University of Chicago and received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1990. From 1989 until 2002 he was a Professor of Economics at various rank at the University of Illinois. He works primarily in public economics, political economy, general equilibrium and game theory.Currently, he is Professor of Economics at Vanderbilt University. Other professional positions include past-president of the Association for Public Economic Theory (APET) and editor of the Economics Bulletin and the co-founder and editor of the Journal of Public Economic Theory.

Theoretical public economics (especially public goods, externalities, and political economy) and coop. and noncoop. games
