Biographical Sketch :
 
Current research: game theory, evolution and female competition, evironmental economics, tax competition, fertility. Research history: primarily public economic theory and game theory, cf., her invited article in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, (September 14, 1999). Visiting appointments include: Paris 1, Yale, Bonn, CentER (Tilburg), Hebrew University, CORE, and California Institute of Technology. Service: RES Committee on women member, editorial board member for Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Mathematical Economics and Economic Theory, editor (with John Conley) of the Journal of Public Economic Theory.and founding editor of Economics Bulletin. Awards: Connaught Followship in the Social Sciences, Humboldt Research Award for Foreign Scientists, an ESRC award under The Evolving Macro-Economy. Associations: Research Associate of the ESRC Centre for the Study of Globalization and Regionalisation, Research Fellow of the German-based CESifo Research Network.
